Hobbies For Healing

This Affinity Group will brainstorm, initiate and develop new ideas to allow patients (in hospitals, nursing homes,private homes or hospice care) to try to ESCAPE mentally from their medical situations. We will not be able to help them escape physically from their distressing situations, but will try to come up with new, easy to implement and manage ways to allow them to try to ESCAPE mentally, if only for a short time, from their distressing situations. It is much easier for patients to mentally escape from thinking about their illness if they are engaged in thought processes and activities that are new to them.
