VENTANAS FOR THE CHILDREN OF VENEZUELA INC

VENtanas for the Children of Venezuela was created in 2017 in Massachusetts by a small dedicated group of Venezuelan volunteers to give back in reaction to the deteriorating condition of their home country. The economy of Venezuela has collapsed, increasing severe poverty and suffering, especially among the country’s children. VENtanas was incorporated as a 501(C) 3 nonprofit organization in Massachusetts and could be considered a non-governmental organization (NGO). Since 2017, multiple programs have been implemented, including metal decontamination in children living in oil refinery communities, medical treatments to children with cancer and several projects to benefit a community of Venezuelan refugee children in the border with Colombia.
