Heritage Works (HW), a Detroit-based cultural arts organization, celebrates the cultural traditions and art forms of Detroit communities. Cultural traditions provide rich resources for promoting understanding, as well as personal, community and artistic excellence. Our mission is to promote youth and community development through cultural traditions, arts and education. We accomplish this mission through two programs:  Youth Works and Community Works.
