About Us TCV Food Bank + Mobile Pantry (Tri-City Volunteers) was founded 55 years ago by community volunteers and we continue the spirit of neighbors supporting neighbors to this day. We distribute fresh and nutritious food to 1,500 families per week in Fremont, Union City, and Newark. Each year, we distribute enough food to make over 1.5 million meals so that our neighbors do not need to worry about where their next meal will come from. Providing more food security allows our neighbors to focus on improving their lives.
Volunteers are the heart of TCV, exuding the respect and compassion with with we treat our clients. Our volunteers provide 125 hours of service every week, and we offer opportunities to high school students, seniors, and anyone interested in making our community better.
