The United Nations Association of Minnesota (UNA-MN) is a non-profit grass roots organization located in Minneapolis / St. Paul that works on a local and regional level to promote the principles and goals of the United Nations. The UNA-MN has 275 members. We are a part of the United Nations Association of the USA.
The UNA-MN Core Values (as the UN itself) are Integrity, Professionalism, and respect for Diversity.
Professionalism - good academic and analytical skills;
Planning and Organizing - ability to establish priorities, to coordinate own work plan and meet deadlines;
Communications - ability to draft clearly and concisely, good language skills;
Technological Awareness - good IT skills;
Teamwork - good interpersonal skills, works collaboratively with colleagues to achieve organizational goals, ability to develop and maintain effective work relationships with different national and cultural backgrounds with sensitivity and respect for diversity.
