The San Francisco Botanical Garden Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the San Francisco Botanical Garden, an extraordinary 55-acre public garden featuring over 8,000 varieties of plants from around the world. The Society helps ensure that the Garden, located in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park, remains the Bay Area's premier public botanical garden, outdoor classroom and urban sanctuary. The Society supports educational and interpretive programs; garden improvements; and the Helen Crocker Russell Library, Northern California's most comprehensive horticultural library.
