Becoming a peer support group facilitator at Good Grief is a unique, engaging, and transformative volunteer experience. Facilitators at Good Grief help to create a safe and empathic environment for grieving families after the death of a loved one by helping foster resiliency and develop healthy coping skills that will serve them for the rest of their lives.

Good Grief, a leader in childhood bereavement since its founding in 2004, serves over 550 participants every month through our centers in Morristown and Princeton. To expand our reach to people who don't have the means to benefit from our services, Good Grief created In Community to serve families of urban communities and will launch in Jersey City (on the second floor of Jersey City Medical Center) this spring. In Community will cater to children ages 6-18 who have lost someone significant in their lives, along with their caregivers. Come be a part of the mission today, where a team of dedicated volunteers and staff work to ensure that no child ever has to grieve alone. For more details and to volunteer, please email the In Community Program Manager, Whitney Allen, at whitney@good-grief.org or call her at 908-522-1999 ext. 8004. Thank you!
