Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida

For the past 30 years, the Ronald McDonalds House Charities of South Florida has been committed to helping children and their families during their most crucial times. By staying at the House, parents have simple access to their child any time of the day or night which also helps keep families together and enhance their coping skills during their child’s hospitalization. The House is a “home-away-from-home” where families can prepare meals, do laundry, rest, and watch television. Most importantly, families can communicate and help each other get through the most difficult times of their lives. There are no other organizations in our community that help parents with the basic needs of shelter and food as they face the expensive and overwhelming task of caring for an ill or injured child.

We believe that "when you change a child's life, you change a family's, which can change a community, and ultimately the world". So help us change the lives of the more than 500 families that stay with us every year by becoming a volunteer at our Ronald McDonald Miami House!
