Descripción
Services for the UnderServed's Dreitzer House is a supportive housing community designed for families with behavioral health needs. Dreitzer opened in 2018 and currently serves 300+ residents. Dreitzer is interested in starting a yoga class which will help residents relax and feel more in tune with themselves. Volunteer would guide 8-12 participants in a weekly 45-minute chair yoga practice.
Responsibilities
- Guide 8-12 individuals in chair yoga
- Come in weekly for 45 minute sessions
Preferred Skills
- Certified Yoga Instruction, required
- Experience in teaching chair yoga
- Understanding of people experiencing homelessness
