When hurricanes, wildfires and other disasters strike, communities are often left with critical needs for basics like food and shelter. You can be the one to help address these needs—as you provide comfort and help those impacted begin to recover.

The Red Cross provides:

• • Housing and travel arrangements
  • Hands-on training and support
  • Flexibility to choose your deployment availability

Requirements:

• • Available to travel outside of your local area for 2 weeks
  • Able to travel within 48 hours of assignment
  • At least 18 years old
  • Flexible and adaptable in fast-changing situations
