Connected To Culture is seeking a passionate Communications Volunteer to support our CTC Market summer programming. This role will help amplify our community-based market, highlighting local vendors, cultural programming, and economic empowerment initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with creating and scheduling social media posts
- Draft newsletters, announcements, and promotional content
- Support outreach to vendors, partners, and community members
- Help maintain content calendars
- Organize and share stories from events and participants
- Support basic media and community engagement efforts
Qualifications
- Interest in communications, marketing, or storytelling
- Strong writing and organizational skills
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
- Passion for community development and arts/culture
