Volunteers get a first hand look at the inner-workings of the Pharmacy Department. They assist the Pharmacists with some clerical work, pulling and returning prescription refills, and helping with the hospital smoking cessation program, checking for expired medications, updating drug barcode stickers, and other tasks. Excellent opportunity for those planning to apply to Pharmacy School.
