Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled volunteer bookkeeper familiar with QuickBooks to manage our financial records with precision and reliability. This vital role supports our mission by ensuring financial accuracy and compliance, allowing us to focus on our core mission of improving global health access.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records and statements in QuickBooks.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, and manage invoices and tax payments.
• Ensure all transactions are properly recorded and entered into QuickBooks.
• Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
• Coordinate with our team to assist in budget preparation and financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.

Ideal Candidate:

• Proficient in QuickBooks with a solid understanding of bookkeeping practices.
• Keen attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience in handling confidential financial data.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
