Product Committee Chair

The George Street Co-op is looking for someone to lead our Product Committee!

Our Product Committee manages all things product-related. From sourcing new local and sustainable goods, to ensuring our shelves are stocked with the items our members want most, if you love food and have an interest in product selection, this committee is the perfect fit for you.

The George Street Co‑op sells only vegan and vegetarian foods, aiming at all times for the best nutritional profile and for organic, non‑GMO, fair trade, and cruelty‑free certifications. The Product Committee plays the essential role in ensuring that the products sold by the Co-op meet these standards, and that we are sourcing our products from businesses who uphold the dignity of their workers, animals, and the planet.

Our ideal product committee lead should be a skilled communicator, a competent researcher, and ready to assist with preparing policy proposals.
