AccentCare Vigil Volunteer

AccentCare Hospice is committed to ensuring that no patient dies alone- unless that is their choice. Vigil volunteers are specially trained to support patients during their final hours by holding a hand, offering reassurance, creating a peaceful environment and providing sacred space throughout their transitions.

Use your compassion and talents to make a meaningful difference.

Special training will be provided by AccentCare.

Requirements:

To ensure the safety and quality of care we provide, all Direct care volunteers must complete

• • Background check
  • tuberculosis (TB) Test
  • Drug screening
  • volunteer training modules
  • Valid Government I.D.
  • Valid Visa and Social Security number (for identification and screening process)
