Title: Help Build a Movement — Volunteer Roles Available at Evergreen Movement
Organization: The Evergreen Movement
Location: Remote / Flexible
Time Commitment: Varies by role (5–15 hours/week)
About Us:
The Evergreen Movement is a Massachusetts-based nonprofit building a just, sustainable future through education, policy advocacy, and community organizing. We've drafted the People's Compact — a seven-bill legislative package — and we're looking for passionate volunteers to help us grow.
We're Currently Recruiting for the Following Roles:
RoleWhat You'll Do
Executive Assistant
Support the Executive Director with scheduling, email management, project coordination, and light administrative tasks. Critical need — we're looking for someone organized, reliable, and mission-aligned.
Policy Researcher
Track legislation, analyze policy data, and support the development of the People's Compact.
Social Media Manager
Build our online presence, create content, and engage our growing community across platforms.
Grant Writer
Research and draft grant proposals and funding applications to sustain and grow our work.
Curriculum Editor
Review and refine our K-12 environmental curriculum materials.
Community Organizer
Build local chapters, coordinate events, and mobilize supporters across the country.
Legal Researcher
Assist with legal research and policy analysis related to the Compact.
What We're Looking For:
- Passion for environmental justice, housing, mental health, and systemic change
- Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working remotely
- Relevant skills or experience in your chosen role
- Willingness to grow with a young organization
