Pop-up book sale in Western Market

Carpe Librum is a used bookstore benefiting Turning the Page, an education nonprofit dedicated to developing literacy programs for elementary and middle school students in Wards 7 and 8. We will be popping up in Western Market for fundraising book sales the weekend of March 21-22. We will need volunteers to help us set up in the morning and box up in the afternoon. This is a great opportunity to spend an hour or two supporting literacy and positive educational outcomes in the DC public school students.

Can you lend a hand?

The first shift is from 10 am-11:30 am on Saturday, March 21, helping to set up tables and shelve books by genre.

The second shift is from 6:00 pm-7:30 pm on Sunday, March 22, helping to pack up books.
