The Role
As an Editor / Proofreader, you’ll make sure every post is reader-ready clean, clear, and typo-free. You’ll work closely with writers and researchers to refine articles, improve flow, and maintain our editorial voice.
Responsibilities
- Review blog articles for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and clarity.
- Suggest improvements for tone, structure, and flow.
- Collaborate with writers to make edits and keep articles engaging.
- Ensure consistency in formatting, branding, and style.
- Help enforce deadlines and smooth out the publishing workflow.
What We’re Looking For
- Excellent grammar and proofreading skills.
- Strong eye for detail and clarity in writing.
- Comfortable editing tech/gaming content or willing to learn.
- Reliable and communicative with team members.
- Experience with Google Docs or online editing tools.
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Editorial experience (school blog, publications, etc.)
- Familiarity with SEO-friendly writing
- Understanding of blog formatting (headings, links, bullet points)
- Passion for gaming, tech, or geek culture

- Comfortable using Google Docs (suggesting edits, tracking changes, leaving comments).
- Ability to communicate via email or team chat platforms in a timely manner.
- Willingness to give and receive feedback in a respectful, constructive way.
- Commitment to at least 1 blog article per week (can be flexible).
- Must be self-motivated and proactive no micromanaging here.
- Optional but awesome: interest in staying long-term or growing into a leadership/editorial lead role.
