Fundraising & Donor Relations Coordinator

The Role: We need a "People Person" who can turn our mission into a movement. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of individual giving—from identifying potential donors to ensuring they are thanked and updated on our impact.

Volunteer Position Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Donor Stewardship: Draft and send personalized thank-you letters and impact reports to donors to maintain high retention rates.
• Outreach & Appeals: Assist the CEO in drafting quarterly fundraising appeals, newsletters, and digital campaigns .
• Corporate & Community Partnerships: Identify and research local businesses and community groups for potential sponsorship or "give-back" event opportunities.
• Database Management: Maintain accurate records of donations and donor contact information .
• Expansion Support: Assist in identifying and tracking grant opportunities that align with our trauma-informed expansion goals.

This is a vital role for Hurt 2 Heal. While a Grant Writer focuses on foundations, a Fundraising Coordinator focuses on people— and managing your donations.

Hurt 2 Heal (H2H) is a Georgia-based nonprofit that empowers survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse to move from restoration to flourishing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Campaign Management: Lead and manage our digital fundraising campaigns .
• Donor Stewardship: Build and maintain relationships with individual donors; this includes sending personalized thank-you notes and impact updates.
• Follow-Up Excellence: Track all pledges and donations, ensuring that every "ask" has a follow-up and every gift is acknowledged within 48 hours.
• Business Outreach: Reach out to local Georgia businesses for small sponsorships or "in-kind" donations.

What We Are Looking For:

• Someone who can speak passionately about our mission.
• Ability to keep a "Donor Log" updated so no one falls through the cracks.
• You aren't afraid to follow up multiple times to secure a donation or a meeting.
• Comfortable using platforms like Zeffy, Canva (for quick flyers), and social media.
