Role Summary

Love animals and want to make a difference every weekend? Join us at our Saturday adoption events to help dogs meet their future families! As an Adoption Event Volunteer, you’ll play an essential role in creating a positive, welcoming experience for potential adopters and helping our dogs shine.

Report to the Director of Adoptions to:

• Assist with event setup and breakdown (tents, tables, crates, supplies)
• Walk, comfort, and socialize dogs during the event
• Speak with potential adopters and share information about each dog’s personality and story
• Ensure dogs stay safe, hydrated, and comfortable throughout the event
• Help with photos, social media, and general event support as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• A love for animals and compassion for rescue work
• Reliability and a positive attitude
• Ability to handle dogs safely and follow team instructions
• Availability on Saturdays for at least 3 hours (flexible scheduling)
