Social Media and Content Creation Team

Are you a social media-savvy storyteller with a passion for rescue dogs? The Animal Pad is looking for a dynamic, local team of content creators to help us give our rescue pups the spotlight they deserve! We have incredible dogs currently in our rescue who are waiting for their forever homes, and we need your creativity to help tell their stories, boost their visibility, and get them adopted!

What You’ll Do:

• Capture the Magic: Visit our San Diego HQ and local foster homes to shoot high-quality, engaging video footage and photos of our adoptable dogs.
• Create Trending Content: Edit and compile footage into high-energy, emotional, or humorous TikToks, Instagram Reels, and Shorts.
• Collaborate with Fosters: Meet up with our amazing foster parents to capture a "day in the life" of our pups to show how they behave in a home environment.
• Drive Adoptions: Focus heavily on promoting our long-stay dogs who need an extra marketing push to find their perfect match.
• Time Commitment: Flexible (approx. 3–5 hours per week)

Requirements:

• San Diego Local: You must live in the San Diego area and have reliable transportation to visit HQ and various foster locations.
• Social Media Native: You know what makes a video stop someone from scrolling. You are fluent in CapCut, Instagram Reels, TikTok editing, and current audio trends.
• Dog Lover: You are comfortable interacting with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and energy levels.
• Self-Starter: You can take a dog's bio and turn it into a compelling visual narrative.

Prior experience in social media marketing, content creation, or videography. Please be prepared to share links to social media accounts you’ve managed, a portfolio, or specific video examples you have created/edited.
