Annabelle Godwin Play day

What a fun day this will be! Join us for the FREE 27th Annual Annabelle Godwin Family Play Day, a wonderful community event where families learn through play.

This exciting day brings together children, parents, and the community for hands-on activities perfect for every age. It highlights the importance of early childhood education at no cost to families. The event draws thousands of attendees each year and honors Professor Annabelle Godwin's commitment to positive early care and education in the San Fernando Valley and beyond.

We need your help to make it special! Volunteer opportunities include:

• Set-up/Breakdown of tents, chairs, and booths
• Face Painting
• Reptile Exhibit
• Book tent/Distribution
• Fruits and vegetable tent/Distribution
• Water and First Aid tent

Lunch and a light breakfast will be provided for all volunteers.

The Annabelle Godwin Play Day event is named after Professor Annabelle Godwin in honor of her commitment to positive early care and education programs benefiting thousands of residents in the greater San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles area. The event is presented every year for the families of CCRC’s service area. CCRC offers guests an event focused on child-enriching and sensory-driven activities for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and young school-aged children.
