SAA is a professional organization that provides emergency care, transport and assistance to residents of Southbury and surrounding communities. On an annual basis, SAA responds to approximately 4,000 emergency calls. We have a fleet of ambulances outfitted with state of the art equipment, manned with a professional and caring staff to serve the community 24/7 365. SAA strives to meet the ever changing healthcare system, EMS regulations and preparedness, and collaborate with interactive organizations. We are a non-profit organization and depend on donations and the dedication of our staff and volunteers. Our members are your neighbors- mothers, fathers, teachers, nurses, fire fighters. and high school students. We have been a "stepping stone" for many who have moved on into the medical field.
