About the Role
Do you love making people smile? Are you outgoing, friendly, and comfortable approaching strangers?
Adopt A Destiny is looking for a New York City volunteer to help spread a little kindness through our Kindness initiative.
Nothing complicated. Just small, thoughtful gestures that can brighten someone's day.
What You'll Do
- Share encouraging notes, positive messages, or kind words with strangers.
- Surprise someone with a MetroCard, a coffee, groceries, or another small act of kindness.
- Help us come up with simple, creative ways to spread kindness around NYC.
- Occasionally share photos or short videos of activities, always with permission, so we can inspire others to join in.
Who We're Looking For
- Must live in or near New York City.
- Must be outgoing and comfortable approaching strangers.
- Friendly, compassionate, dependable, and respectful of others.
- Available for approximately 2 hours per week.
