Camp Cornerstone is a day camp for children and teens ages 6-12 who have experienced the death of someone close to them. These camps create a safe, compassionate space where young people can process grief, build connection, and experience hope alongside peers who understand loss. Campers participate in therapeutic grief activities, field trips, sports, games, arts and crafts, and other interactive experiences designed to foster healing and resilience.
As a camp volunteer, you will play a meaningful role in supporting children and teens through one of the most difficult seasons of their lives. Volunteers provide encouragement, stability, and presence—helping campers feel seen, heard, and supported while having fun and building community. Our goal is to validate, recognize, and normalize each camper’s grief experience while reminding them they are not alone.
