About SCORE Raleigh
SCORE Raleigh is a volunteer-led chapter of SCORE, a nonprofit resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration. We provide free mentoring and education to entrepreneurs across North Carolina. Our volunteers serve as certified mentors and also lead a part of the chapter, so every member has ownership in how it runs.
What you will do
- Mentor small business owners as a certified SCORE mentor
- Maintain the master list of chapter initiatives and project plans using project management tools.
- Document decisions, action items, owners, and due dates from chapter meetings
- Follow up on open actions and escalate risks to the Chapter Chair
- Build templates, checklists, and status reports for chapter leaders
- Attend monthly chapter meetings
- Back support role for Chapter Team.
Who fits
- Experience starting, running, or advising a small business in the United States
- Project management, operations, or program administration experience
- Strong documentation and follow-through, and the ability to coordinate volunteers by influence
