Key Responsibilities
Program Design and Development
- Research community needs, best practices, and emerging trends relevant to the organization’s mission.
- Design and develop new programs and initiatives, including objectives, strategies, timelines, and evaluation frameworks.
- Revise and improve existing programs to enhance effectiveness and alignment with organizational priorities.
Project Management
- Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and work plans for new and existing programs.
- Coordinate cross-departmental efforts to ensure program integration and smooth implementation.
- Monitor program progress and adjust plans as needed to meet goals and deadlines.
Evaluation and Reporting
- Establish metrics and evaluation tools to measure program outcomes and impact.
- Prepare detailed progress reports, impact summaries, and data visualizations for leadership, funders, and stakeholders.
- Use data to inform strategic decisions and continuous program improvement.
Collaboration and Partnership Building
- Build and maintain partnerships with community organizations, funders, volunteers, and stakeholders.
- Represent the organization at meetings, events, and community forums to promote program goals and partnerships.
Grant and Resource Development
- Support grant writing and proposal development related to new or ongoing programs.
- Assist in identifying funding opportunities and ensuring program activities comply with grant requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, Social Work, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in program design, project management, or community development within a nonprofit or public sector environment.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in program evaluation and data-driven decision-making.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Microsoft Project).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
