CTO/Chief Technical Officer/Product ManagerAbout 8Billionminds:

We want to enable 100,000s of online educational live-lessons between people of all backgrounds every day, without any money exchanging hands.

We are a global team of 30 volunteers building a new free education system for the world. Think a live-version of Wikipedia.

What we're looking for:

As our CTO/Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of 8Billionminds, working alongside the founder, Sam, to keep the tech side of things running smoothly

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement product strategies consistent with our vision and goals
• Develop and maintain a product roadmap and log for our app
• Manage the product development cycle, including planning, design, development, and testing
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including designers, developers, and community builders to deliver a successful product.
• Create, update and delegate Trello tasks to Android, iOS and backend development teams

Qualifications:

• Strong experience in Product Management
• A passion for education
• Proven track record of delivering successful products to market.
• Strong technical background and understanding of software development methodologies.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a friendly and professional manner
