Become a Senior Companion Volunteer

Are you someone who enjoys listening, sharing stories, or simply being present with someone who may need a little companionship? We're looking for kind-hearted volunteers to visit seniors in your community who would benefit from friendly conversation and meaningful human connection.

Many of the individuals you’ll meet are in the final chapters of life and could use the comfort of a compassionate presence. Whether you're holding a hand, reading a book aloud or just sitting quietly together, your time can make a lasting impact.

What our volunteers do:

• Offer a peaceful presence by being there to listen, visit, or just sit in silence together.
• Read books, newspapers, or magazines to their companion
• Write letters or document the life of their companion
• Play cards or games together
• Help with light errands, light housework, or pet care
• Support patient interests, such as music or crafting
• Stay with a patient while their loved one resets, enjoys an activity, or runs errands

No medical experience needed. Training and support are provided.

Opportunities are available throughout the West GA area, and we’ll work with your schedule!
