Are you looking for volunteer work that actually fits your strengths and schedule?
The SMOC1 Foundation for Hope supports families navigating a rare genetic condition - and we're building a team of volunteers who bring diverse skills and perspectives.
Here's what makes this different:
We don't have a one-size-fits-all volunteer role. Instead, we want to understand what you bring - whether that's 2 hours a month or 20, whether you love spreadsheets or connecting with people, whether you're a scientist or just someone who cares. We are awash in ambitious plans but we are limited by time and brainpower. If you have any to spare, we would be truly grateful.
Our goal is to match your strengths to meaningful work that energizes you, puts carefully considered language on your resume, while serving families who desperately need answers.
No rare disease expertise required - just willingness to learn and contribute in whatever way fits you best.
Interested in exploring how your skills could make a difference?
All hands, all minds are welcome to this cause. Thank you for your consideration.
