This is a leadership position, designed for people who understand the role of an orchestra conductor, blending and harmonizing different personalities and businesses. Must be adaptable to circumstances and needs alert to new and potential opportunities for Empty Bowl Pet food pantry, ability to respond to disasters for Arizona a plus! Job Summary:

The Donation Specialist is an integral part of the Donation Center as well as the Empty Bowl Leadership team. This position is responsible for scheduling and acquiring donations from the community in their geographioal area and maintaining in-kind donor relationships. Candidate will be able to drive a large vehicle to pick up donations, maintain organization and re-donation of items in the Donation Center for their geographical area

Essential Job Functions:

• Schedules and picks up donations.
• Drives box truck, pickup truck or van.
• Organizes and maintains storage area.
• Builds and maintains in-kind donor relationships within the community.
• Responsible for removal of overflow items.
• Attends regular staff training and team meetings
• Collaborates with other departments to determine needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Other Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Current Arizona driver license and must meet liability insurance carrier’s driver requirements

Physical Factors/Working Conditions

• Ability to work in a warehouse/storage setting, year around. perferred.
• Requires the use of a computer and mobile phone including text.
• Travel between work locations and within the geogrphical community is required
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs, bend, stretch, twist and be able to be on feet for long periods of time
