Grant Writer Assistant

Job brief

We are looking for a Grant Writer Assistant to assist our Grant Manager in securing funding, which will help our domestic violence (DV) awareness organization operate throughout the year. Ultimately, you will work with LLN leadership to understand our financial needs to help ensure we attain funding.

Responsibilities

• Identify grant funding opportunities.
• Assist in writing and submitting grant proposals, managing grants, as well as grant reports to funders.
• Collaborate with leadership to compile an annual impact report.
• Maintain proficient knowledge of the organization’s history and programs.

Requirements and skills

• At least 2 years work experience, along with successful writing samples is required.
• Proficient with MS Office Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of fundraising information sources.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in creative writing or related field.
