Animal Rescue Center Birthday Party Coordinator

As the Volunteer Birthday Party Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to offer children a compassion-cultivating, pawsitively-purrfect Birthday Party! Alongside a team of supportive staff and volunteers, you will lead light-moderate set-up, clean-up, and facilitation of 1.5 hour birthday parties for children no less than 6 years old. Parties have 12 children or less with adult supervision.

Requirements:

1. Willingness to commit 3-4 hours to volunteering on weekends 2-4x/month for a minimum of 4 consecutive months
2. Ability to lead a group with strong time management
3. Must be professional, communicative, organized, and highly dependable
4. Must have the ability to multitask and remain calm under mildly busy circumstances
5. Competence in kind and respectful communication across various personality types (children and adults) as well as confidence in public speaking
6. Preferred (but not required) to be comfortable and have experience in handling puppies
7. Must pass a background check

Training will be provided.
