About A&N Career Services Project
A&N Career Services Project is a newly launched career services and workforce readiness initiative focused on helping people navigate career transitions, build readiness, and connect with real opportunity.
We are actively building programs, partnerships, and public-facing initiatives from the ground up. At this stage, clear thinking, strong ideas, and strategic perspective matter just as much as execution.
About This Role
At launch stage, direction matters.
We are seeking a Creative Strategy Collaborator (Volunteer) to contribute strategic thinking, creative insight, and perspective across A&N Career Services Project initiatives. This role exists to help shape how ideas form, how initiatives take shape, and how the organization thinks through new opportunities as it grows.
This is not a content, marketing, or execution role. It is a thinking and collaboration role designed for someone who enjoys helping ideas evolve into well-considered programs, experiences, and strategies.
How You Will Contribute
As a Creative Strategy Collaborator, you will:
- Participate in strategy and ideation sessions directly with the Executive Director
- Collaborate closely with the Volunteer Experience & Onboarding Manager to help shape ideas that impact volunteer engagement and cohort experience
- Lend creative and strategic input across the organization as initiatives, programs, or questions arise
- Help refine concepts, themes, positioning, and early-stage ideas for programs, events, and partnerships
- Offer perspective that strengthens clarity, alignment, and intentionality across workstreams
- Support the flow of ideas into the organization, communicating through the Volunteer Experience & Onboarding Manager when appropriate to ensure insights reach volunteers in a structured and thoughtful way
You will serve as a thought partner, helping leadership and volunteers think more clearly about what is being built and why.
This Role Is a Strong Fit If You
- Enjoy strategic thinking, ideation, and creative problem-solving
- Are comfortable contributing ideas in early-stage or evolving environments
- Like working directly with leadership and cross-functional collaborators
- Value clarity, alignment, and intentional design over quick execution
- Come from backgrounds such as strategy, consulting, communications, leadership, program design, creative fields, HR, or adjacent disciplines (formal titles not required)
- Want to influence how initiatives take shape without owning day-to-day execution
If you enjoy helping ideas take shape before they become programs, this role will feel energizing rather than exhausting.
What You Will Gain
- Direct exposure to organizational strategy and leadership decision-making
- A meaningful role in shaping programs and initiatives during a launch phase
- Portfolio-ready examples of strategic and creative contribution (where appropriate)
- Professional references upon successful completion of the cohort
- Mentorship and collaboration with experienced workforce and career services leaders
- Inclusion in a growing professional network connected to A&N Career Services Project
