Education Support Volunteer — Online Student Teaching or Volunteer

DeGrio Global Learning Academy Inc. is seeking Education & Learning Support Volunteers to assist with the launch of our flexible learning pilot. This opportunity may be a good fit for education students, early childhood education students, special education candidates, child development students, psychology/counseling students, retired educators, community volunteers, or individuals seeking meaningful service experience with children and families.

Volunteers may assist with lesson preparation, tutoring support, small-group learning activities, classroom or virtual learning support, family engagement materials, enrichment activities, developmental learning supports, and program documentation. Volunteers may also help create learning resources, support student engagement, assist with basic progress tracking, and contribute to a safe, structured, and encouraging learning environment.

This is a volunteer-based opportunity. It may support observation hours, service-learning hours, field experience, or teaching-related volunteer hours depending on the requirements and approval process of the volunteer’s school, college, university, or training program. Academic credit or formal field placement must be approved by the volunteer’s educational institution.

Ideal volunteers should be fun, dependable, patient, compassionate, organized, and interested in supporting children and families. Volunteers should have strong communication skills, respect for confidentiality, and a willingness to learn.
