Facilitation of workshops at the Festival of Arts and Learning in Brownsville

The Festival of Arts and Learning is a way for ATD teams worldwide to bring culture, high quality workshops, and joy to children and adults in Brownsville. It is a pathway to connect human experiences and create encounters between people of different backgrounds. The festival is a participatory place to bring out creativity and talent, to express oneself, and to learn from each other. This is a way to claim our right to the city by using streets like places where culture is visible and accessible for all. As facilitators, it gives us the possibility to express our creativity, and as a team makes us work hard to create magical and unforgettable experiences for children and families.

The Festival this year will have for theme "Creative Innovation", we have planned activities over the three day (28th,29th,30th of June) that address subjects like science (a cardboard volcano eruption), art (different activities such as drawing and decorating) and Our Future (where we will talk with the children about their vision of the future and let them express their creativity inventing it).
