    About The Bridge to Hope:

B2H engages local Christian churches in the mission to end homelessness for single mothers and their children. Our model is a three-way partnership:

    1. Skilled B2H staff
    2. One homeless single mother and her children
    3. A trained, church-based mentoring team of 8–12 mentors

Through this approach, we aim to foster physical, emotional, social, and spiritual wholeness.

    The Role of the Church:

Church mentoring teams provide support that goes beyond what staff can offer. They disciple the family, socialize with them, and demonstrate how to live a successful, faith-filled life. Families coming from homelessness are lifted out of negative environments and surrounded with positivity, hope, and endless possibilities.

Partnering churches also help B2H serve more families through financial giving, mentoring, and prayer. Donations from individuals, churches, and corporations allow each mother to gain stability and get on her feet.

    Ways You Can Serve:

    • Create a mentoring church team to support a family emotionally and spiritually
    • Join an existing mentoring team from our partner churches
    • Attend Bridge Dinner twice per month
    • Take your Bridge family to church weekly
    • Coordinate one fun activity per month
    • Provide transportation when needed

    Requirements for Volunteers:

    • Register as a volunteer with B2H
    • Be a member of Phoenix Bible Church
    • Receive an endorsement from your Pastor
