Descripción
We are building a board of 3 to 5 directors to govern the organization and oversee every dollar we and our sponsored projects receive. This is a hands-on governance role for someone who wants to strengthen youth arts in our community.
What You'll Do
- Approve annual budgets and review quarterly financial reports
- Approve new sponsored projects and monitor their spending
- Help keep us compliant with IRS, Georgia, and school district requirements
- Connect us with donors, sponsors, and community partners
Who We're Looking For
- Commitment to youth arts and the Augusta community
- Comfort reading a budget and asking hard questions
- Especially welcome: accounting or finance, nonprofit law or compliance, arts education, or fundraising experience
Commitment
Two-year term. Quarterly board meetings plus an annual meeting in July, about 3 to 5 hours per month. Remote participation available. Unpaid volunteer position.
