Volunteer with Lyon-Martin Community Health Services — May 2 Event

Lyon-Martin Community Health Services is hosting a donor and community appreciation gathering inside our future clinic space ahead of construction.

This evening is a chance to bring together community, artists, and supporters to honor the history of the space and celebrate the future of for us, by us, peer-led care.

The event will feature performances, music, a ceremonial blessing, food and drinks, and time to gather in community.

Location: Mission District, San Francisco, CA

Date: Saturday, May 2, 2026

Time Commitment: ~5:00 PM – 9:30 PM

Volunteer Roles

We’re looking for a small group of reliable, community-centered volunteers to help the evening run smoothly:

• Front of House (2-3 volunteers)
• Runner / Production Assistant (1 volunteer)
• Talent Coordination (1 volunteer)
• A/V Support (1 volunteer)

Who We’re Looking For

• Organized, reliable, and proactive
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced event environment
• Friendly and welcoming with guests
• Interest in supporting LGBTQ+ community-centered work

Prior event experience is a plus but not required.
