As a Social Media Assistant, you’ll help share our mission, engage with our community, and promote events and initiatives through platforms like Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube and LinkedIn, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and schedule engaging posts across social media platforms.
- Assist in developing content calendars and campaign ideas.
- Monitor comments and messages, responding or flagging as needed.
- Track engagement metrics and suggest improvements.
- Help design graphics or source images (using tools like Canva or similar).
- Stay up to date with social media trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with major social media platforms.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Basic graphic design skills are a plus (Canva, Adobe Spark, etc.).
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Passion for our mission and a positive, collaborative attitude.
Flexible hours and may work from home after training and competency established.
