Handyman/Carpenter/Painter

Share your skills. Help keep a piece of Stayton history thriving.

Do you enjoy fixing, building, or painting—and seeing the difference your work makes? Santiam Heritage Foundation welcomes a Handyman / Carpenter / Painter Volunteer to help care for the historic 1903 Brown House.

The Brown House Event Center brings people together through local history, tours, and community gatherings. Your hands-on contribution will help keep this special place cared for and ready to welcome its next visitors.

Ways you can help:

• Complete painting, small repairs, carpentry, and finishing projects.
• Work with our team to select tasks that match your experience.
• Follow approved project plans that respect the house’s historic character.

Bring your practical skills, attention to detail, and willingness to work with others. Tell us which kinds of projects you feel confident taking on.

Local participation required: You must live near Stayton, Oregon, and be able to attend scheduled work sessions in person.
