Descripción
Empyrean Hospice is a new, Faith led Hospice seeking volunteers. There are two types of volunteers: Indirect and Direct. Indirect Volunteers work in the office providing behind the scenes support to staff and patients. Direct Volunteers can enhance a patient's life in many ways. Most of the time, a volunteer is assigned to visit a patient one time a week. Volunteer services can be utilized for:
Friendly/supportive visits
Reading aloud
Listening to music together
Writing letters
Reminiscing
Leisure activities
Vigil services
Respite for family
Meal preparation
Pet Care
Organization/light housekeeping
