About KUTE:

KUTE (Knowledge Unlocked To Everyone) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting educational equity by providing underserved students with access to essential learning resources. Through initiatives like book drives, fundraising, and KUTE Kits, we’re closing the resource gap—locally and globally.

Position Overview:

We’re looking for creative and committed Social Media Team Members to help share our mission, increase engagement, and grow our online presence. This is a remote volunteer opportunity ideal for high school or college students, early-career professionals, or anyone passionate about digital storytelling and education advocacy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating and scheduling engaging content across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Contribute to content strategy, including campaign ideas, hashtag research, and audience engagement
• Help manage daily posting, replies, and interactions with followers
• Collaborate with the Social Media Director and other team members to align messaging with KUTE’s mission
• Stay updated on relevant trends and nonprofit marketing strategies

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with one or more major social media platforms
• Strong writing or design skills (graphic design, video editing, Canva, or CapCut experience is a plus)
• Detail-oriented and reliable with good time management
• Passionate about education, youth empowerment, or nonprofit work
• No professional experience required—just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn

Time Commitment: Flexible

Location: Remote (open to volunteers from any region)
