Outreach volunteers represent Hope House at community events, fairs, and awareness campaigns. By staffing our booths and helping at events, you play a key role in raising awareness about domestic and sexual violence, sharing resources, and connecting community members with our services.
What you’ll do
- Set up and take down event displays, tables, and materials.
- Hand out brochures, flyers, and giveaway items to community members.
- Share basic information about Hope House services and upcoming events (training provided—no direct client advocacy required).
- Answer general questions and direct people to staff for more detailed inquiries.
- Help create a welcoming and approachable presence at community events.
Time commitment: Varies depending on the event (typically 2–4 hours).
You’re a great fit if you
- Enjoy talking with people and engaging with the community.
- Are comfortable sharing information in a friendly, approachable way.
- Can represent Hope House in a positive, professional manner.
- Are dependable, flexible, and willing to work as part of a team.
