Grant Writer

Sante Imanite is a faith-based humanitarian nonprofit dedicated to serving individuals, families, and communities through compassion, service, and practical support.

Our work includes humanitarian relief, health and wellness, mental health, youth development, disaster relief, immigrant and refugee support, and community-based initiatives in the United States and internationally.

We are seeking a Volunteer Grant Writer to help expand our funding opportunities and support the development of programs that serve communities in need.

About the Role

The Grant Writer will research funding opportunities and help develop compelling grant proposals for foundations, corporations, government agencies, and other potential funding partners.

The ideal volunteer is a strong writer and researcher who is passionate about humanitarian and community service and wants to use their skills to support a growing faith-based nonprofit.

Responsibilities

Research foundation, corporate, government, and community grant opportunities

Identify grants that align with Sante Imanite’s programs and mission

Review grant requirements and determine eligibility

Draft grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and supporting narratives

Work with organizational leaders to gather program information and outcomes

Assist with grant budgets and supporting documentation

Track grant opportunities, deadlines, submissions, and reporting requirements

Help develop reusable organizational and program materials

Research potential foundations and funding partners

Help strengthen Sante Imanite’s overall grant-development strategy

Ideal Candidate

Grant-writing or nonprofit development experience preferred

Excellent written communication and research skills

Strong attention to detail and organization

Able to work independently and meet deadlines

Familiarity with nonprofit grants and foundations is helpful

Government grant experience is a plus

Experience with humanitarian, health, education, community development, or faith-based organizations is welcome

Students, recent graduates, nonprofit professionals, and experienced volunteers are encouraged to apply.
