Please help with the Feed My Starving Children MobilePack hosted by Gateway Christian Church scheduled to be held from October 14-18, 2026. While nobody has to pay to pack, donations will help us increase the number of children we can feed - only 29 cents will pay for a meal and $106 will feed a child a meal a day for an entire year. Donations secured through July will determine the number of meals we can order and the number of children we can feed. Groups donating $500 per group of 10 people will be allowed to pre-register for their desired shift date/time.
This is a wonderful volunteer opportunity for families (anyone age 5+), school groups, clubs, sports teams, businesses for team building, churches, etc. In addition to the standing/moderate exertion assembly-line-like packing stations for teams of 15-20 people, there are more physical jobs carrying ingredients and packaged meals, as well as seated tasks - there is something for everyone.
During our October 2025 event, with the help of 3,300 volunteers, we packed 1,430,784 meals to provide a nutritious daily meal to 3,919 children for an entire year. Our goal for 2026 is to again fund and pack 1.4 million meals to feed 3,900+ children a meal a day for a year. We will need the help of 3,600 volunteers spanning fifteen two-hour shifts. Please join us - hunger is a solvable problem!
