Childcare Basic Play Volunteer at Young Parents Network/ Kirkwood Community College

YPN is seeking individuals who have an imagination and would love to be the sidekick to a young child! We hold prenatal and parenting group meetings on Thursday evenings from 5:30-7:30 p.m. year round and provide on-site childcare for children ages 0-5. This opportunity provides flexibility in your schedule. We also welcome and encourage bilingual volunteers as YPN serves Hispanic, African and Afghan families that speak limited to no English.

All volunteers must complete an application, interview, and a background check (at no cost to you). All volunteers must be 15 years of age or older to volunteer on their own or 10-14 to volunteer with their guardian.
