Do What You Love to End Alzheimer's Community Outreach Team
Descripción
Descripción
The Do What You Love to End ALZ Team is a part of the Tennessee Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association. Do What You Love to End ALZ is the Association's signature DIY fundraising program that empowers individuals, groups, families, and organizations to get involved in a way that works for them. Participants can choose any activity they love to do and turn it into a way to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's research, care and support.
We are looking for more volunteers to join us on our Community Outreach Team. This team is the engine behind growing participation in Do What You Love to End ALZ. Community Outreach members focus on reaching new people, groups, and organizations to get them involved in the movement. A core focus will be our Event in a Box project — recruiting new office spaces and workplaces to host their own DWYL activities. Beyond that, team members will have the opportunity to expand recruitment into other areas and activity buckets as the program grows, making this a great fit for someone who wants variety and wants to help shape where recruitment efforts go next. This team is a great fit if you're outgoing, enjoy meeting new people, and like the idea of being the first point of contact that gets someone excited to get involved.
