Kids in our community have incredible potential - but many lack consistent, positive role models to help guide them along the way. That's where YOU come in! You don't need any special skills to be a mentor - just consistency, encouragement and a willingness to show up!

At Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Lehigh Valley, we match (pair) caring adult volunteer mentors (Bigs) with local youth (Littles) to build supportive friendships that inspire confidence, encourage new skills, and most importantly...have FUN!

We are currently seeking volunteers for our Sports Buddies mentoring program, where volunteer mentors and mentees connect through exciting and fun physical activities or sports.

As a mentor, you will...

• Meet with your mentee once a month for 9 months
• Attend sporting events (like the IronPigs or a college basketball game)
• Participate in fun events that encourage physical activity, such as playing a game of kickball or a trip to the local park for a group hike
• Spend meaningful time encouraging, supporting and empowering a young person

All Sports Buddies activities are organized and facilitated by Big Brothers Big Sisters staff and there is NO cost associated for either families or volunteers.
