Summary of Position
Act as a representative of Jeffco Parks & Open Space by providing cultural programming at Hiwan Heritage Park and Museum for Kindergarten through 12th grade visitors.
Duties
Lead developed cultural programming on select cultural history topics for schools and booked groups
Complete defined, mission-supportive projects
Complete required trainings
Requirements
A keen interest in learning and sharing a love for history and museums
Possess effective communication skills and an interest in working with people of all ages
Complete 40 hours of service annually, including required trainings
Follow History Educator uniform guidelines
Complete required trainings
Abide by JCPOS Park Regulations and established volunteer policies and procedures outlined in the JCPOS Volunteer Handbook

- Attend New Volunteer Orientation
- All new volunteers are required to attend New Volunteer Orientation at JCPOS Headquarters to become familiar with the entire JCPOS system prior to specific program training. You must pre-register for orientation on Offero. Registration links are provided upon receipt of your application.

- Training will be arranged by the Program Coordinator
